CAMBRIDGE RACES.
(UKITKD PREBS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, April 16. The Cambridge races were held yea* terday. The following are the re. suits : — Hurdles. — Claude 1, Alaric 2, Mar. quis 3. A protest was entered against Claude, on the ground that his jookey struck Alaric on the head at the finish. The protest was sustained. Cambridge Cup.— Victory 1, Mystery 2, Buzzard 3. J The Maiden Steeplechase was won by Joe. * Shorts Handicap.— Victory 1, Mitrail. leuse 2.
