Great Horse Fair.
On Thursday, April 23, Messrs Beckett, Hammond and Dick will bold their great unnnal horse fair at York Farm, near Marton. We notice that 100 entries are already to hand, consisting of broken and unbroken light and heavy draught horses, broken and unbroken hacks and barness horses, bred by 11. Hammond, Esq., Major Marshall, John McKelvie, Esq., J. T. Dalrymple, Esq,, and many other well-known breeders. The sale will take place at 11 o'clock. The auctioneers make a special note to the effect that no entries for the sale will be taken later than Wednesday, the 22nd instant, and all horses must be m the yards at York Farm before 9.30 on Thursday, the day of sale. Previous horse fairs by the same firra have been uniformly successful, and there is every reason to believe that this one now announced will prove no exception to the rule.
