Meblourne, April 13. In consequetica of uneasiness felt m regard to the foreign situation the greatest activity is being manifested by all the Australian Colonies m matters of defen co. It is very probable that a permanent militia camp will be formed m Victoria to which the various corps will be drafted for instruction and drill. The age for admitting recruits to the militia has been reduced. The wortc on the forte for the protection to the Bay is progressing rapidl3'. A project is oti foot to form a militia corps of German residents m Melbourne. Adelaidk, April 15. The Government of South Australia have established a patrol service \u the Gulf of St. Vincent m order to give warning of the approach of hostile vessels and measures are beitig taken for protection of Port Glenelg.
