(by electric telegraph.— copyright). London, April 11. A shipment of beef ex the steamer Liguria has realised only 3£d per lb. The meat arrived in an unsatisfactory condition. The shipment ex the Westminster brought 4£d per lb. The wheat market is excited, and prices are unsettled; April and May cargoes have been sold at 33s 6d, and February shipments at 37s Bd. Holders, however, demand a higher price. The wool market is weaker, and is especially low in greasy sorts. Since tho commencement of the series 178,000 bales have been catalogued, of which number 25,000 were withdrawn.
