Our sale at Awahuri on Tuesday was not well attended, doubtless owing to - the caster holidays. We managed however tv quit all the sheep and the largor portion of the cattle aud quote followiug rates : — Cattle.— 2f to 3yr sleera, £3 10s ; mixed cattle, various ages, £3; yearlings mixed, 25a ; mixed 18,-mouths,' 30a ; calves m low condition, l*ls. Sheep.— Breeding ewes,6s 3d to 6s 7d; forward ewes, 7«3.i ; merino ewes, 5s Id.
