The city of Dublin was very generally decorated m view of the visit of the Pnno» and Princess of Wales to Ireland. The commission of enquiry which has been sitting for some time to adjudicate upon claims of German settlers to land m the Fiji Islands has conducted its labors and commissioners are now preparing their reports. The members of the commission are said to be m accord on the question, only a slight difference occurring m the fiinding. A i ban y, April 7. The P. and O. Company's B.M.S. Missilia with London mails March Gth arrived at King George's Sound yesterdaj' evening. Bombay, April 7. Earl Dufferin gave a banquet yesterday at Rawalpindi m honor of the Ameer of Afghanistan. The Ameer made a speech m which he wished prosperity to Great Britain and referred to the Queen's army as ever victorious.
