The Public Works Department re grant of £749 for extraordinary damage by floods to Awahuri bridge, stating that three-fourths of* the amount under the Minister's certificate had been issued to Colonel Treasurer, viz., £562. From Public Works, re grant of £1000 for construction of Longburn Road stating amount certified to by Minister to Colonel Treasurer. From same £1750 on Middle Aorangi Road: From the General Survey Office, re memorial from settlers on Kairanga Block re flooded state of drains overflowing Bunnythorpe and Longburn Road, and stating that department .had. proposed to entrust to the Board £\OO if Board find £25 to be expended m improving the drainage referred to. From the Borough Council re account rendered for moiety of cost of removing 1 willows from Kawau stream. The Council decided not to make any reduction m the amount of their original claim.
