OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE BOAT RACE, | SPECIAL TO UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (SY ELEOTBIO TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT.) London, Jan. 28. The boat race between Oxford and Cambridge was rowed to-day, and Oxford won by two and a-half lengths. Cambridge won last year by two and a quarter lengths, the time being 21miu 39sec. In 1883, Oxford won by four lengthq ; tiiv.e, 2lmin Bsec. In 1881 and 1882, Oxford won by three lengths and ; teu 7 len'gths, the time being 21min 54sec and 20miu 12sec. Oxford, since the year 1840, counts six wins ahead of ' Cambridge. In 1887 them was a doad heat, the time being 24miu Bsec.
