Great Native Meeting.
; ; {Special io the ]„,. i Waitaba, THi'd Day." A great native, meeting , has taken place liere, Titokbwaifu being the leading spirit. About 1400 natives were present, xnost of them dn horseback. The meeting partook more of the character of a Tbig picnic and^feed than a gathering of political signification. The natives had with them pearly one thousand hqrg&s;be- ; sides a number of single., and double buggies,- 3ray s, .and trap's. They proceed ' to-day to 1 a 1 'settlement further o'nj -called ; Waihi, thence to Wain ui,. and farther oiiitoivards the White Cliffs. Te \Vhiti is not with them, has instructions ire to' behave quietly. The Natives have been rery orderly here..
