The happy idea has been admired by a good many. Very extensive alteration,? and. improvements to tho Feildiug Hotel have j jufct been, completed,- and .certainly . for j accommodation and geueiial couiforfctbe hostelery will now compare with any other oD.tliiß coast. A very handsome balcony has been erected, ou two sides of the building, to which access cau be had from sitting and other rooms. The interior has also undergone n complete renpvaiion, a|l ? the rooms being neawlv painted,' papered, ana* each furnished with a patent ventilator adding considerably to the comfort and freshness of the apartments./ . Passages, corridors, and all other, parts of the, building have beon renovated and improved to such an extent as to make recognition almost impossible. Mr Haistie, the proprietor, evidently believes m the future pros perity of Feihling, and has not failed to give practical expression to such belief.
