The cricket match, England v. The cricket match, England v. j Australia, ivas . resumed' to : dayv, Thje attendance was good but the wicket heavy owing fo the rain which fell last aright. The> 1 firsfe innings - for v the home 'team closed for 809, Blackham being not out with 11, Jones run out 40, and Baainerman caught 51. Thevisitors then 1 comm6nced their second innings, and were all disposed of for 77, leaving the Australians 31. t0 get to win. This'the home team succeeded m obtaining with the loss of two wickets.
