Serious Trap Accident.

By telegram we learn that a serious trap accident occurred to-day on the Awahuri Road, by which two of the occupants; named Behrendt and Fowles were seriously injured. It would appear that the accident occurred through the vehicle colliding with the hand rail of a bridge. Behrendt's injuries are of a serious nature, as it is believed his spine is dislocated, and he is paralysed from the waist downwards. Fowles, who was driving has sustained a severe injury to his ribs. Mrs Doreen and child who were also passengers in the trap miraculously escaped unhurt.
