Bulls, March 10. Messrs Stevens & Gorton report : — We hold a most successful sheep salo at Martoh yes'terdajr^gPhe attendance was good, the bidding spirited, and we sold every pen of sheen excepting one under the hatuuW, and' .thnt one was quitted immediately after the sale. Oat of forty-four ratus we. ,sold. 4hirty-two. .Owing to "the bbthgHrif^uired for the sheep, only one pen of yearlings (mixed) came forward, whioh were sold und,er the, hammer a£ 21s. Over 1,500 sheep were j^enhei, and/ the prices were m favour of the vendors, m all cases excepting one exceeding the reserves placed upon them.
