Horses : We , quote hacks at from £5 lOs to £20 ; light harness horses, £8 10s to £15; los; medium drnught,.£3o. .'Cattle, dairy, and store stock have been moderately plentiful, but more fat beasts would have found purchasers at ap advance of fully 10s per head on the; pre-" vious week's rates. The Newmarket yards on Tuesday were sufficiently 'supplied with store and dairy stock,' and there was a large muster at the monthly Papakura sale on Wednesday, < but the . number of fat beasts yarded, was scarcely sufficient for requirements ; an advance of fully 10s to £1 per head on well fatted beasts ; dairy cows m brisk demand at from £6 to £8 10s. We quote ; Calves, J4s to 20s ; yearlings, 22s to 30s 5 18-month old steers, 40s to 55s ; grown steers, £3 17s 6d to £4 5s ; dry cows, 35s to £3. Sheep : The Newmarket yards were adequately supplied on Tuesday, competition was spirited, throughout, and an aiivance of fuljy Isper head was given. Lambs were rather scarce. Pigr; Short supply,
