Attack On O'Donovan Rossa.

DETAILS OF THE ASSAULT.

■ (Per Mail Steamer). O'Donovan Rossa was shot by a wolndn on Chambers-street, near Broadway, m the afternoon when the street wrts fall of people. The first shot lodged, inso Rossa's body. He. fell on to a sidewdlk. The woman continued shooting till she emptied five 1 chambers of a revolver. In Canada there was great excitement and j intense (disappointment that the wound was not dangerous. Iv the interview Miss Dudley said she saw Eossa, and offered him mercy m order to draw him put.
