Bad news comes from Canterbury as to the harvcßt. A telegram from Christchurch sayi the weather continues gloomy, with heavy showers. There is little indication of a change for the better. Harvest operations have now been at a standstill for over a week. It is reported m many cases that the wheat Is commencing to Bprout.
