The Palmerston Guineas, a handicap of 100 guineas ; nomination 1 soy, acceptance 2 soys; distance If miles ; the winner of any race of 100 soys after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 51b, of £150 a penalty of 71b. To start at 2.30 p.m. 6. Pony Race of 5 soys ; post entry 10s ; catch weights ; distance 6 furlongs ; jockeys to ride m colors ; open to ponies not over 13| hands high. To start at 3.15 p.m. 7. Handicap Hack Race of 10 soys; nomination 10s, acceptance 10s; once round the course ; for horses that have not won an advertised race for six months prior to date of nomination, back races excepted. All persons intending to withdraw hoises are required to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any peigon neglecting or refusing to comply with thiß* Rule shall pay a fine of 5 s;ns. to. the Race Fund. All races to be run under the W.J.C. Eulcs.
