Entries and Acceptances close ob Monday, 30th March, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No Entry will be received for any Races except upon this condition, —That all Disputes, Claims, and Objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. All Entries to be Sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Palmerston North ; Entrance Money enclosed with name, Age at the time of Entry, Pedigree, and, m the case of Handicaps, Performances of the Horse, Name of the owner, und Colours of the Rider. Any Jockey ridiug except m the colours entered will be fined 3 soys. . When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a Distinguishing Colour must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw hoi sos are required to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk oi the Scales one half- hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this llule shall pay a fine of 5 so\s. to the Race Fund. All race 3to be run under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the Stakes. No horse to save its stakes m any race except where otherwise specified. AH entries and nominations must be m the hands of the Secretary at the time and place as advertised, accompanied by the* amount of nominations and entrance money. Post marks will not be received under any pretence whatever and nominations unpaid at the time of the due date of weights will be struck out of the Hat. No Qualification Fee required.
