Thames Cattle Markets.

MESSRS BANKS AND GO'S WEEKLY REPORT. At Parawai on Thursday a large supply of fat cattle was yarded, uearly all being fed m the district. At the commencement of the sale bidding ran low, but later on more spirit was shown ; and although some were withdrawn, most of :- the lots changed hands at satisfactory prices, thrugh below the high quotations of last week. Best steers made from £5 17s 6d to £7- 12s 6J ; cows from £5 17s 6d to L 6 12s 6d, or from 20s to 21s per lOOlbs ; second quality being about 2s lower. The whole of the sheep penned were ewes, mauy of them very fat. Prices were from 10s to 12s 3d. No lambs were offered
