Countless telegrams from the Bay of Islands to the Bluff come pouring m every day, and between intervals m bathing m the springs, the Treasurer finds time to flash his replies, requests, and instructions to Under Secretaries, office-seekers, and patriots generally. The .press of work on the telegraph wires, indeed, has necessitated the temporary stationing of an additional telegraph operator^atx the Springs, The weather during the Treasurer's s,tay ha& been delightful, and he is so charmed with the manifold attractions of the delightful spot, and has experienced so much benefit from th'eiuse ttf fhe waters, Uh#t he has determined to prolong his visit for several* "weefs. The Treasurer still adheres to his mechanical chair, which lias been his constant friend and has given him a loyal and consisteht support ever since his arrival m the colony. He bathes, three times a dajr, bejng, carried to the batlis; by his,, attendants, \ All who have come m contact with Sir Julius, no matter; what. their , political convjction, come under the spell of his manner.
