When Jefesop was at Anderson's,- he told them he had a- share m a still near Pahnerston with a farmer named'xStew'aEt and» another man ;j that they made a good' article, all kinds of spirits, and disposed of it He offered .to sell! them a worm for J£l, which he said was a superior article ; it was the one he had when ho got into trouble at Palmerston, and had been r concealed under the English Church.' Jessop also said that on his way up he liad sold & quarter cask of whisky at Wangaehu.
