Dunedin, Feb. 10. Adamant is reported to have done the best gallop on the racecourse this season, and has advanced ]to 100 to 5, at which price he has been backed for a good stake. Wapiti is now as good a favorite for money for the Duuedin Cup as Vanguard, and the best offers obtainable from the principal bookmakers are 100 to 25. Lady Emma and Captain Webster are each quoted at 100 to 14, and Johnny Faulkner at 100 to 7. •
