The representatives m Parliament of the district, and Mr Menteath, of Reefton, were also present. The address of the Premier was comparatively brief and nonpolitical m tone. To night he delivers a lentuie on " Colonisation, past and present, and what should bo our aim as colonists." Chkistchurch, Feb. 10. The Canterbury Saleyards Company has declared a, dividend equal toll per cent for the nast year.
