Our yards at Palnierston yesterday wore filled with cattle and sheep, among the latter th'eiv were over 1000 UunWs. The bidding for the cattle was not quite up the past sales, but we quitted all the caitle exceptiug 9 'head and all the sheep excepting two pens-. Of the Romney rams entered we sold eleven, the balance nob reaching the roerves, 'were, passed m. The following were the prices realized. Cattle.— Forward bullock, £5 10s y fat cows, not prime, £3 15.5; 3-yr steers, £4 ; 3 and 4-yr slevrs, j£4 5s to £4 12s 6d ; 2£-yr steers, £3 to £3 7s 6d ; cows, £2" 7s 6d to £2 15s; heifers, mixed ages. 2ls to 32s Gd ; mixed oatile, 2 to 3 yr, £2 17 Gil; mixed 18-months, 255. Sheep. — Fai wethers, 10s ; . fat .sheep, 9s to 9.s 3d 2 to 4 -tooth wethers, 9s Id; mixed shojep, 9s; store ewes, 7s 6d ; lambs, from 3s 9d to Gs jLd ; Ri > umey rams, from one guinea to 3£ guineas.:, 'We', offered a few horses but there was no dem md for them.
