The ; Mount Erin flock, originally fS'fiOO sheep, part of Mr Tanner's flofcfc, has been heavily I culled every year since coming into the present owner's hands, and from his ; using only the highest class Lincoln Rams.the whole of the sheep are now nearly pure, grand healthy sheep, good, size, and clip and quality may be judged from fact of last year's wool, although heavy m grease, realising for 'fleece from 8d to 9|d per pound, and that m a low market. „ « . ... . .;• The sales from the station this season have been only wedders and second-class sheep, but amongst j those to be offered oil 13th are. the choice flocks hitherto reserved. The only lot now reserved is 3500 hog.gets, and as the Mpnnt Erhpi Estate has been sold (with the exception of ; a few. sections on the flats) and delivery must" be given "on 10th Feb., these sheep must be sold.
