At our sale of stock at Feildinjj oa the sth Februai^ there was anntfi usually large attendance; of buyers'. The sale was a very large- one/ Our own yards being full besides those of Mkssi-s Steven* and Gorton, kindly placed at our disposal by that firm. There were 460 bullocks' yarded and 840 sheep-. Prices realized -r^eef, £5 10s to £6 10s; 3 yr sfceeiV, 4^ X7ms to £6 2s: 2-yr steers, £2 5s to £2 15 1: 3yr heifers. £3 ; 2£-yi« heifers, 453 Is j cows, £Fto £3; m'ilclicowß, £2 10s to £3; yearling steers, £1 14s ; speyed heiiers,| £l-Qa ; Weanerii j 17s 6d to £lj fat sheep, JO* tp.lfls 6tl ; store wethers, 9s ; .store ewes, 6s 9d to 7s 3d ; lambs, 5s 5d to 5s 6d; pigs (weaners), Q* 6d ; <hack?,^ 10s. The whole of the slock was disposed, of wish the exception ofi&ix-hdad'djf beef. We held a successful saleat^sHorafc on Friday.-: The en trie* Were? -'nob numerous, but the bidding was brisk and the prices obtained very satisfactory to vendors.
