(UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Dt/nedin, Feb. 4. The inquiry into the case of alleged duinmyisHi nt Waitahuna West was resumed this morning. The most important feature of tho proceedings was tbe examination of Mr James Smith, of Greenfielo, who emphatically denied having any beneficial interest m tho sec tic u m respect of which duinmyisin is alleged. Theiuquiry was again adjourned for a week m order that efforts might be made to fiud three witnesses who pould not so far be found. :
