Administrator 1 Sou-wester ••• 2 Lady Evelyn 3 Black Bose, Fusilier, Ugly Buck, Armourer, and Gaiters, also ran. HURDLES. Secretary ... •♦. 1 Linwood ... ... 2 Macaroni • 3 Cribbage, Shamrock, Speculation, and Ingomar also ran. There was a good start, Speculation taking the lead. At the first hurdle Shamrock fell, and unseated his jockey, who quickly remouted bnt the horse had got too far behind. Coming down the straight, Linwood ran into first place, with Secretary close up, when a splendid race ensued between Linwood and Secretary. They took the hist hurdle together, and, after an exciting race, tho latter won by two lengths. Dividend, inside, £11 2s; outside,. £17 18s. Time, 4min. lOsec. In the Hack Bace, Bocket, a Southern horse, beat 10 others, doing the mile m lmin 47£ sec. TE ABO PLATE.
