News from Fiji.

Messrs Bethel] ' and Co., of London, have definitely decided to run a direct steam service from London to Fiji, via Tasmania. These steamers will leave London m February, May, August, and November. A fire and marine insurance company is about to be formed m Suva, £4270 has been already subscribed, ' A bottle with a message, thrown overboard by the Cah'fornian mail j steamer off Pauga-Panga, Samoa, m i August, drifted ashore at Kotumah, and was brought then by the Gordon. The Polynesian Gazette, published at Lcvuka, champions , the annexation of colony to New Zealand.
