RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

A terrible accident occurred to tho maiLirain last night near Coota Mundra on the southorn line. Owing to the heavy rain tho embankment had given way and the train rushed into the gap m the darkness and was completely wrecked. Many carriages telescoped and several passengers were killed and wounded. The scene is one of intense horror. Assistance has been sent and further particulars will be forwarded.
