Poultry is more plentiful now than it was a ahort time back ,and may be quoted at 3s 6d to 4s for fowls per pair ; ducks. 4s to 5s Gd do ; geese which are never very saleable, 3s each ; turkeys about 5s each ; eggs 9d per dozen. Fruit is com ing forward but slowly, and prices m consequence are ruling fairly well. At the horse sale on Saturday there were a good many lots placed at prices satisfactory to the vendors.
