The annual meeting of $c abovei Club was held last evening uti the • Coniniferciai Hotel; iVeMV-'Messrs McNeil (chairman), Lyeiris, Skertoan, jun., Walkley, Coombes, Milverton^ Hayhijitle, Smith, Bentley, Prinze/ Jobnstone, Pratt, Macintire, T. Kmg v > and the Secretary (J. King)* ; The Chairman commenced the;proceedings with a few gciunal remarks, said he woulcF compliraenti the ■stewards/ and committee for the bxu& .cess 'attending their HBfiorts m jconnection with .the- late meeting, which; success was mainly due to their united 'adfcion. He hoped that at the present 'meeting any discussion' which - might arise would be conducted m g66d spirit^ 'arid that there, would be no biekeririg or anything that would' mar the reputation of the Club. , .
