She was coming m yesterday afternoon with a south-east wind, and missed Stays, and went on the shoal just at sundown. The . lighthouse patua-tolqphoniod for the tugboat to render assistance, but both the chief and second pilots are away. < Hearing of the disaster, the captain of the Minnie Casey took his vessel down at ten o'clock last night, but, although he had a man at the masthead, nothing could be. seen of her. The wind was strong, and there was a heavy sea. Captain Pearce; being short of coal, and fearing to get nipped by the ebb tide, was compelled to. give up the search. Fears are entertained for the Annabel's safety, she being an old vessel, and also for that of her crew, on account of the heavy sea last night. Only two men aije at the .pilot, station, and the captain of Minnie Casey advised them to get up ufteani m the tug, and fetch the pilot, op the MaCry Annison, to get out to try'and save the crew. !
