The shock was felt over the greater part of the province and[ caused immense damage to several tbfns and the death of a number •of people besides serious m. juries to many others.! The shock of the earthquake has also bean felt here, but it was slight and caused but little dam* age. 1/ \ Dec. 26. Later intelligence: from the province of Andalusia|shows thai.the loss of life by the earthquake has bien very heavy. One hundred and fifty persons were killed at Alleriquenos andfortyat Arenas del Key.
