Henri Gourmeaux, who was specially sent to the Melbourne Exhibition from the woollen manufacturing district m France for the purpose. He declares that " every article manufactured by that company is supe ■ rior to any other Australian woollen goods I saw at the Exhibition" and he thinks that "Hie Mosgiel Factory will take first rank m the Australian markets over all European importatUms" Testimony like this from a critic so competent and disinterested must be very gratifying to the Company.
