— , — * » A meeting to discuss the advisability of forming a Boating Club m Palmerston was held last evening at the Commerciai Hotel. •„ i Present — Messrs Bentley (2), Park, Hicks, Clarke, Warburton, Baker.Robinson, Rawlins, and Healy. Mr Park proposed that Mr A. S. Bentley take the chair, Seconded by .'Mr Hicks. Mr Bentley said ho had no doubt had the meeting been advertised a larger number would have been present, but it had been deemed advisable not to go to the expense. He might state that he had canvassed part of the town and had been successful m securing a great many . signatures to the proposed Boating Club. (Read the following names subscribed).
