"^MESSRS HUNTER AND NOLAN'S WEEKLY REPORT. ; Horses : There was an improvement" m the market as compared with the prei viouß week, both as to the animals brought forward and the price obtained, but values favour the purchaser. We quote : Hacks, at from £6 10s to £16 ; light harness horses, from £7 to £10 10s. Cattle : The number yarded was below the average, and there was 'an upward tendency m value, particularly for fat stock. There was an advance of fully £1 per head obtained .at Newmarket as compared with the 'previous week^ -arid^priCeV did hot fluctuates, nearly. so much, consequently the average val.ue was higher. We quote beef 'froji^ 19s to 22s per lOOlbs, Sheep : There was a very limited number penned on. Tpesday at Newmarket, and consequently prices were firmer than on 'the previous week, but there was no marked advance. Lambs sold at from 5s to 12s v 9d. Pigs ; In rather short. supply ?;ai few: of ia very^ good description sold at £1 14s i6d ana £3 2s 6d. ; , j - ';
