Election of Directors.
Full particulars m connection with .the election of Directors under the New Zealand Government Insurance Act, 1884, are given m another column. It will be seen that any person, whether a policy-holder or not, is eligible for the office af Director. The nomination paper must be signed by two policyholders insured for a sum not less than .£IOO, and also by the candidate himself. The voting qualification is the possession by a full-aged holder of a' policy for £100, and each holder will be allowed at each election as many votes as there are candidates to be elected, but will ;not be permitted tojplump for any one candidate. Nominations must be sent by •post to the Presiding Officer for the election of Directors, -or delivered, so: adr: dressed, at the Governmeat Insurance Office, Wellington, so as to; reach that official by noon on December 20 next. Voting papers can be obtained by policyholders at the Chief Office, Wellington, or : from any district or resident agent of the Insurance Department; also from any post office agency ot the department The .nominators of any candidate must give 4 . the number of. /their respective policies, and the written consent of the person so nominated. to stand for election /must appear on the voting paper. The election will be held 1 on Wednesday, the 7th day of January, 1885.
