Singular Action m Dunedin .

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunbdin, Dec. 5. A singular case was heard at the Besident Magistrate's Court to-day. The I plaintiff, Ireland, sued defendant, Kursey, for board and lodging supplied to Mrs Kursey. The defence that Mrs Kursey left her husband one day, telling him she was going to Mosgiel, instead of which she went to Auckland, travelling, it was alleged with a young man named j^ckhart as his wife. She was examined and admitted goif^ to Auckland, but denied ever knowing any young man called Lockhart. She said -she did not know m what steamer she went to Auck* land or returned m. His worship , said there being no clear evidence of adultery, though the facts were very suspicious, he must give judgment for the plaintiff.
