, Wednksdat, Nov. 26. There has been a better demand for cattle during the past fortnight, all that offered being sold at the quotations. Sheep came forward m limited numbers, the shearing being late this season. Owing to the changeable weather it is impossible to get them m the market. Pigs are better worth, and meet a ready sale. Cattle.— At Waverly sold as follows : — * Yearling heifers and steers, 295 ; •weanere, 15s to 23s ; cows and heifers, £2. At the yards to-day ; fat cows, £3 12s 6d to £5 7s 6d ; store cows, £2 9s ; cows and calves, £2 10s. ; Sheep -^.AtWaverley: Ewes and lambs Jn wool, 10s Bd. At the St. Hill-street yards ; Fat sheep, shorn, 9s 4d ; ewes and lambs m wool, 11s 4d 9a 6d. Pigs.--Bacon pigs, £2 1b; porkers, 14s to 23s each. * ; Horses. — Dull of sale ; at lower values. Land.—l sold Mr C. Thomas's ' farm near-Waverley at about £8 I2|s6dper acre, under a forced sale.
