It provides that members shall receive two guineas each day of attendance. Melbourne, Nov. 14. The -Colonial Secretary of Fiji expresses his belief that any further pressure to secure the annexation of the Western Pacific would be inconsistent with his position. The Exhibition trustees intend to construct an aquarium and winter garden. . . The Baptist Association is endeavoring to, raise £25,000 to_ entitle them to a similar amount promised by an anonymous donor for denominational college.
