Flour is : unaltered and still rules from £9 to £9 10s. Fowls' wheat, unless of a very first-class, whole! chhracter, <is without inquiry ; good samples are steady at 2s 9d to 3s. Old potatoes of good quality are hard to nlUaiu ;.a quantity of inferior, lots are on ( 'market, and rule from £4 to £4 iOs per. ton. Cheeßo, sid to s^d ; liams and bacon, active 1 at 9^d all round. In dairy and garden produce; eggs are firm at lid to 'll^a* ; fresh butter, slight inquiry, 7d ; salt do, without demand ; new potatoes have been ruling from l^d to l^cl, -but uro to-day reduced to Id" per lb ; green peas', la 3d to Is sd! per. peck ;' gooseberries, 4^d per quart ; fowls, 4s 9d ; ducks, 5s 6d ) geese, 7s 6d ; turkeys, 14s per pair.
