Superior Court of Bankruptcy.

Monday, November 10. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Rich mond). Re W. W. Taylob.— Mr E. Shaw appeared for the bankrupt, and Mi' yf. T. L. Travers ? for the Official Assignee. Permission was applied for and obtained to admit certain proof of debt m the estate. 7Re Peteb McGrath.— The Court gave its formal approval of the composition of 10s m the pound. Re J. R. Habpee. — Mr Shaw appeared for the bankrupt, and Mr W. fctzGerald for the creditors. The latter applied for an adjournment, which was granted, until the nexi sitting of the court. Mr Shaw applied for an order for the bankrupt's maintenance, and his Honor granted £2 a week. Re Ethel Grey.— Mr E. Shaw appeared for the bankrupt, who was examined. She stated that she had been engaged to be married, and incurred debts with drapers, but the engagement was broken off. A judgment summons had. been obtained against her by one of the creditor In answer to a question by the Official Assignee, she stnted thai she had no jewellery beyond what she bad on, thin being a brooch and earings. His Honor stated that the examination was finished and the bankruptcy closed. * Rb Joseph Jay.— Mr Shaw appeared for the bankrupt, formerly a contractor on the Napier-Woodville railway. The latter stated that the remainder of his contract, which had 1 been taken over by the Government, had only been finished by them m eight months, whereas he had been expected to do it m four month*. The examination was declared finished and the bankruptcy closed. December 1 was appointed as the date on which the discharge was to be applied Rb J. E. Barrett.— Mr E. Shaw appeared for the deHtor,, a boaiding-.. honse-keeper, who stated as the reason for his failure that the members who used to patronise his boardinghouse had not beeu returned this session. An older similar to the above was made. -„,. Rk W. P ppens. — An application io have the bankruptcy annulled was adjourned by consent until the next sitting of the Court. Kb E. P. Amesbuhy.— The ex- *. amirialion was declared finished, but the bankruptcy ordered to be kept open to enable the Official Assignee to make up the debtor's accounts, which, had been neglected by Uie latter.
