Stock Sale.
Mr G. M. Snolson reports us follows : — Ac my sale io-d;iy at the Fitzherbert-street Sale Yards, the attendance was moderate, and the sale fairly good. Sellers seem inclined to place too high reserves on their stock. The following are some of the prices realized : — 2-year old steers, £2 16« 6d ; beef, (pasaed m), J&7 10s ; cows| from £2 to £4, sold ; mixed cattlo| 20s, each 3 yearlings,- £1 5a to £1 10s : ewes, and lambs, 9s; shorn wethois, pasned m, 8s 6d. = . /
