He was about a hundred yards behind at the mile post, and beat both of them on the .second mile post. The Plunger and Hilltop went twice round splendidly, ihe former finishing strongly. Sea Horse did a serviceable gallop. Hipppgritfwent twice round* m fine style, the last mile being done m 1*53. Plausible, Sandal, Lord Wilton* and Gratitude did useful work. For the Derby, Sandal, Gratitude, Bargo, or Mozart should furnish the •winner. .
