Masonic.

The installation of officers of the United Manawatu Lodge, No. 1721, E.C., took place last evening, and was a very impressive ceremony. There was a large attendance of the members and also of visiting brethren. The following officers were duly installed :—Bro. Bryant, W.M. ; Bro. H. W. Haybittle, S.W.; Bro. J. King, J.W., Bro. Keeling, Treasurer; Bro. Hoe, Secretary; Bro. Nathan, S.D.; Bro. Littler, I.G, ; Bro. Schlager, Tyler. After the ceremony had been concluded, the members partook of a cold collation, and a pleasant evening was spent, the proceedings being throughout of a harmonious nature.
