The Inaugural Show at Bulls yesterday was a complete success, the weaiher being tine, the exhibits " numerous and ' creditable, the attendance of visitors very large, aud the whole arrangements most satisfactory. We have not space for a lengthened description, having to make room for the appended prize list; but we may say briefly that the results achieved reflect most creditably on both proinoters and exhibitor*, as well as the -district at large. We trust now that the Society has been so auspi- , ciously, inaugn sited future shows will each add their full .share of success to the career of so worthy and beneficial an, institution; and that its usefulness will be enhanced from year to year, us its operations extend throughout the district. On the consummation attain ed those who have worked so zealous ly with that object in view, are entitled to receive alike the thanks and congratulations of ih« settlers in this portion of the West Coast. For this there were s»x entries, the winners being 1 declared as follows : — Norman Ross, 1 ; D. Campion, 2. The winners finished their several tasks in the following time, viz.. winner 9 minutes, second dog, 7 minutes. Other competing animals fulfilled their task in les« time, but the two which gained the prizes did serviceable work, and consequently gained more points. The competition caused a great dis play of interest, and attracted avery large number of spectators. It took I place in a paddock kindly lent for the purpose by Mr Hammond. The attendance of the general public till 5 p.ni, is estimated trom the receipts at the door at between 600 aud 700. We have to cordially thank the secretary and several members of the Committee for information on various matters connected with the sho»v which was in . every case most cour~ teously furnished.
