The correspondent of the Taranaki News wires: — "The laiest idea is that ihe Stratford route is to be re cnmmondetl, and a branch line from Marion to Jhehead of the Hautapa." This line is iaid to be between fifty and sixty miles m length, and will open up the Mnrimotu Plains. '
