Melbourne, Oct. 1. The Melbourne rimnagerof the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) reports of the lp#al grain market as follows : — Wheat is • quiet at 3s lid. Malting barley 4s to i4s 6d; the market is steady. New Zealand oats — Feeding sorts are m good demand at 3s 4d to 3s 7d ; milling ditto, 38 7d to 3s 8(1, with hardening tendency. There is moderate inquiry for New Zealand oats, under bond, at 2s lid to 3s Id. fg" Mr F.Beaven, The Square, is solf Agent/or tJie Standard m Palmerston, frQm 'whom copies can always be procured.
