Any horse entered for Maiden. Plate winning an advertised race between the date of entry and date of race to carry a penalty of 51bs. To start at 1 p.m. 4. District Maiden of 25 soys. Entrance 2 soys. Weight for age^ 1£ miles. Open to all horses that c . have never won public money (hack races excepted) prior to date of entry, and that have been owned by bonajide resideuts m iheOroua County for six months prior to date of entry, and that have been trained m the said County. Entries and Acceptances close on Saturday, December 13th, at 8 p.m. RULES. AND~REGULATIONS. .No Entry will be received for any Races except upon this condition, — That all Disputes, Claiius, and Objections -arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. AH Entries to be Sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Palmerstou North ; Entrance Money enclosed with name, Age at the time of Entry, Pedigree, and, m the case of Handicaps, Performances of the Horse, Name of the; owner;- and Colours of the Rider. Any Jockey riding except m the colours entered will be fined 3 soys: When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a Distinguishing Colour must be worn. ; All persons intending to withdraw - hoi ses are required to give Notice to that effect to the 'Secretary or Clerk oi the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this Rule shall pay a fine of 5 boys. to the Uace Fund. All races to be run under the W.J.C Rules.- , : " .
